YOUTH WELLNESS PROGRAM
MISSION
Empowering youth with the tools needed to live a healthier and fit lifestyle incorporating both proper diet and exercise strategies.
GOAL
To provide youth with opportunities to be physically active, to learn about healthy food and healthy living, and develop skills to build their self esteem and confidence
STATISTICS
- More than one in five children between the ages of 6 and 17 are overweight
,
- Only 32% of kids in that age group meet the minimum requirements for cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and upper-body strength

- There is a rapid rise in Type 2 diabetes (self-inflicted, or on-set diabetes) among our youth
- Overweight children are much more likely to get heart disease earlier in life than other people
- Physical activity, fitness, recreation and sports play vital roles in youth development and helping children at risk

HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Child meets with trainer once or twice a week for one-on-one fitness training and nutritional counseling
- Child is responsible for keeping a food and exercise journal
- Child will be accessed on a bi-weekly basis (measurements, body fat, BMI and weight)
- Child is responsible to provide a self evaluation twice a month
- Parents are responsible to meet with trainer once a month for progress reporting
PROGRAM COST
- $300.00 non-refundable down payment ( due at contract signing)
- $25.00 recurring monthly fee
- Minimal of 6 months required
- All monthly payments must be paid via credit card
